Shabby Cottage ~ Gail's Home Tour Part 3

We have shared Part 1 & Part 2 this past week of Gail's breathtaking creations & studio ... chandeliers, lighting, sun catchers, sconces, lamps & lampshades ... & 'tick tock' elegant clocks.

Gail's home reflects her warm bubbly personality that welcomes you ... let's take a peek.

Gail loves the beach-y accenting her cottage chic home. This is reflected in her color choices, elegance & serene decor. When you enter her foyer you are awe struck with the bright crisp warm inviting colors & home setting. WOW! is your first reaction, second reaction is 'I can hardly take it all in' ... you just want to stand & absorb every inch of each room.

The little tiny touches Gail gives her home make you want to just sit, relax & enjoy.

The blues & cottage shades make her pinks & whites SPARKLE! Her hickory floors add rich elegance! The white island & stove hood make the dark wood cabinets POP! The chandeliers in each room give a GLOW!

Oops! I think we got a 'glimpse' of Harold ... chuckle! Hi, honey!

Now you can see where all the beauty of Gail's creations come from ... & her home reflects the inspiration she brings to each new design.

(If you haven't seen the previous 2 posts, you do need to pop in to view ... )

Thank you, Gail, for a wonderful visit ... you are the hostess with the mostest, your friendship was welcomed in person to cherish forever.

  9. Your friend Gail is beautiful as is her lovely cottage home. I love that you two made this in-person connection! We learn every day how important our friends are and though they may be a distance away they are in our hearts forever.

Marydon, thank you so much for your kind comment on my friend Lynda's untimely passing. (She hadn't told anyone that she had terminal cancer so it was a devastating shock to all.) I appreciate knowing you are near in spirit with your caring and thoughtfulness. Blessings to you and yours, Coralie

  16. Hi Marydon,
You had asked me about what to do with bittersweet vines. The best thing I can do is direct you to Linda's blog http://behindmyreddoor.blogspot.com In her right sidebar near the top she has a 2 part tutorial about decorating with bittersweet. When those little greenish yellow pods open up they reveal orange-red berries that look wonderful for fall and winter decorating. Check out all the beautiful ways Linda uses her bittersweet vine. I'll post mine when they open. Mine will be more orange because I picked it too early. But I'm going back for more in a few weeks. Have a restful evening. Hugs, Loretta

  21. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I keep the bittersweet out until Thaksgiving then throw it out when I decorate for the Holidays as the berries drop off when moved at that point.

  42. Hi Peanut Butter!
I so loved this tour. Gail's home is just beautiful. I especially love the little plate rails that are in the bedroom. What a beautiful touch. With all of that white, my grandkids would be touching everything. Love the clean look of it all though. So beautiful. Each corner so neatly arranged and gifted with it's own little surprise. Thank you for sharing Peanut Butter, and thank you Gail for allowing PB to share with us. Your home is so beautiful. Stop by and wish Tony a Happy Birthday. Today's tribute is to him. I love you sweetie. Hugs and Kisses, Sherry

  45. What a gorgeous home. I loved it.

Thank you for visiting me yesterday, yup we drove the speed limit but I felt as though God paved the way for us, to make it home safely. The kids cried every night wishing I never went, but deep down I know this was something that needed to be done, regardless of the outcome in the end.

    Take care sweety.

    Cheers,
    Heidi
