~I Think We Are Having Fun~
Oh, the heights a child will go! Up, UP, UUPPP! & away we go ...
Tatiana, then Ansel, 'adopted' James & Poppy ... Poppy is too pooped, keeps saying he is 'too old' for this. Chuckle!
What a wild day on the highest of high roller coaster rides, lifts into the air rides, spin & shaky rides, cotton candy, hot dogs, french fries, fresh squeezed lemonade .. hot sun!!
Oh, the joy of the squeals & excitement of the wee ones. Our yearly trek of 'school's out celebration' at Hershey Park.
Well, maybe Poppy is right, that as a lot of walking for 12 hours ....

Oh my gosh Peanut Butter:
ReplyDeleteI would say that everyone (yes including Poppy) had a wonderful time. Look at the expressions on those babies' faces. They were having the time of their lives. What wonderful memories. I just love family photos. Thanks for sharing this fine day. I love you, Jelly
Oh that looks like so much fun! Wish I could be there now!! :)

That looks much more fun than the mental roller coaster I have been on. I am a chicken to ride real roller coasters!! No thanks. HEE HEE
ReplyDeleteBut I know the kids were thrilled!!!
Blessings~
I stay away from rides...now shows, I love shows...Dollywood in the Smokey Mts is my favorite theme park!☼
ReplyDeleteThat does look like alot of fun. I have been wanting to take the kids to Hershey Park. I know they would all love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun to me; not now, but when I was 15 maybe!

ReplyDeleteOoohhh Marydon,

Looks like everyone had fun. One year my oldest grandson talked me into going on the Kamakazee ride at the fair... I screamed so loud I was hoarse for a week. LOL
ReplyDeleteI never got past the merry-go-round, tiltawhirl or ferris wheel except for one time at Silver Dollar City in the Ozarks when we went on Fire in the Hole. Turned out to be a bit of a roller coaster! It wasn't too bad since it was inside but they turned out the lights. Anyway I survived. It looks like all were having a grand time on your day out. :-) Carol
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the stamina to do that sort of thing anymore. I could probably make it but it would be tough.
ReplyDeleteIt looked like you were having a wonderful time! :) Things like that make it a real "summertime." :)
Oh my, our school starts tomorrow! I guess you got this annual trip in just in time!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun! We're hoping to go to Six Flags sometime soon, we have coupons that we can go for ten bucks! yay! lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet Marydon~ isn't that silly that something like that bothered me??? Oh, I just KNOW that you were having fun! :) My family is from Pa. and we used to go to Hershey Park when I was little. The older we get, it's just so fun to watch the little ones....Sweet memories!

I'm with Poppy - "too old for this!!"

This looks like lots of fun. From experience, it tends to be the Grandpas that wear out first. I know mine did when we went on a trek to the zoo, ONCE! He wasn't ever up for it again, poor thing!
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks like they are having so much fun. Summer is a great time to spend with family.
ReplyDeleteWillow
Oh, you reminded me of our time at Hershey Park. We took our children there when they were in their teens, but I didn't go in no ride!!!
ReplyDeleteI can hear the squeals of excitement! As for me, I'll keep my feet on the ground thank you..
ReplyDeleteI remember those days..and now with our grandkids. Oh the junky sweet food and turning upside down on your head on those rides. I can just see the joy on those little faces! Great sweet post!
ReplyDeleteHello darling, just stopped by to wish you a wonderful day. I like the painfree wrinkles too!!

Hi! Just stopped by from Brynwood Needleworks where Donna named you as one of her faves! I had to come explore. Hope you are enjoying the wild summer fun! I have littles too and they sure can be daring!

Jessica
How wonderful to have such a fun filled day. I have always stuck to the milder rides. That was a lot of walking for you. I would have pooped out after two hours.
