Kitty, Teddy, Bunny, Squirrel Feedsack ~ What a coup! (3) fantastic finds all in one day & in perfect condition. These are supposedly around 1940s ... I AM SO EXCITED!!! The feedsacks replaced barrels for shipping farm & food items. Originally feedsacks were plain linen colored w/advertising in ink the company's logo & product. Approximately c. 1925 colored feedsacks came into play, still stamped in ink the advertising. I found it very interesting that the manuf. even created patterns for dolls, animals & quilt blocks onto the 'sacks ... I found (2) most recently.

Hi Marydon, Hahahaha.. What a crack-up !! Looks like you had a wonderful time !! I think you look lovely in this beautiful yellow hat !! Off to tea you should go !! Have a wonderful day doing what you LoVe !! Hugs ~tea~xo
I just told my husband, "What's most funny is her DRY look!"...and I also said, "isn't it neat? there are like 18 or 19 people in the world just like me!"...he chuckled.
I wanted to thank you for following my blog and your nice comment about my gardens. I also have some annuals and always planted a lot of annuals at my previouse home I had lived at for 28 years. But for some reason the annual flowers do not do as well here so I am planting more of my favorite perennials. I also hit some antique stores with hubby on our vacation. Tried on a couple of hats but didn't come home with any. Fun hat but yellow is not my color either. lol
Oh My Precious Angel Marydon: Darling now you know me and my hats. I love the hat, but yellow is just not your color sweetie. We have got to find another one for you. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to die. The look on your face. But you know what, there might be a place for that hat. I would have bought it I am afraid. I just couldn't resist. Oh honey thank you for sharing that wonderful Kodak moment. I will be making a couple of posts today. Check back later. I love you my precious angel, Sherry

~ WHY ~
I questioned 'WHY?!', He continued to listen. I turned a deaf ear, He spoke softly. I struggled & floundered, He continued to hold me up. I closed my eyes, He touched my heart. I looked for answers, He was patient. I begged for strength to endure, He gave me love. (Written by Marydon Ford)
I am an antique boutique owner. We feature vintage feedsack fabrics, over 3,000 are in inventory ... these are authentic, the kind G'ma used to create quilts, towels, tablecloths, etc. We also have beautiful boutique designer quality baby quilt gift sets ... vintage teacup lighting creations.
I have been married to my beloved hubby FOREVER, we have survived many bumps & bruises along the way. God has carried us thru the heavy loads of life.
We have (4) children, angel Sean will remain 3 & 1/2 yrs. forever. I loved being a Mother, I simply adore being a Mimi to (2) & Mini to (1), our adorable ones. Hubby says they are the rewards for not killing our kids. Chuckle.
We love to travel. Holland is our favorite country ... we have enjoyed our many visits there ... it beckons still.
We are imperfect, have strayed from the path of God, but restored our footings ... we bow before Him humbly.
