Kitty, Teddy, Bunny, Squirrel Feedsack ~ What a coup! (3) fantastic finds all in one day & in perfect condition. These are supposedly around 1940s ... I AM SO EXCITED!!! The feedsacks replaced barrels for shipping farm & food items. Originally feedsacks were plain linen colored w/advertising in ink the company's logo & product. Approximately c. 1925 colored feedsacks came into play, still stamped in ink the advertising. I found it very interesting that the manuf. even created patterns for dolls, animals & quilt blocks onto the 'sacks ... I found (2) most recently.

Thank you so much Marydon for taking me through this awesome part of our great nation. Land that I will probably never get to see in my lifetime. It is just as beautiful as my daughter told it was back there. Your last three posts have been a delight to travel through with you. I wanted to let you know that I found the problem with my link that you e-mailed me about. It seems that some of the blogs I sighned up to follow connected with a profile that I had before I became a blogger. One that I had when I was just a lurker. So now yours is fixed, but I have several more to do yet. Hugs, June

~ WHY ~
I questioned 'WHY?!', He continued to listen. I turned a deaf ear, He spoke softly. I struggled & floundered, He continued to hold me up. I closed my eyes, He touched my heart. I looked for answers, He was patient. I begged for strength to endure, He gave me love. (Written by Marydon Ford)
I am an antique boutique owner. We feature vintage feedsack fabrics, over 3,000 are in inventory ... these are authentic, the kind G'ma used to create quilts, towels, tablecloths, etc. We also have beautiful boutique designer quality baby quilt gift sets ... vintage teacup lighting creations.
I have been married to my beloved hubby FOREVER, we have survived many bumps & bruises along the way. God has carried us thru the heavy loads of life.
We have (4) children, angel Sean will remain 3 & 1/2 yrs. forever. I loved being a Mother, I simply adore being a Mimi to (2) & Mini to (1), our adorable ones. Hubby says they are the rewards for not killing our kids. Chuckle.
We love to travel. Holland is our favorite country ... we have enjoyed our many visits there ... it beckons still.
We are imperfect, have strayed from the path of God, but restored our footings ... we bow before Him humbly.
Such a great trip you are on!!! Lovely scenery!!!!
