~~ Intriguing Reading, Faith Endures All ~~

A few years ago while visiting OKC we popped into a little shop to browse. The MY FOLKS books were sitting on the counter. I forget which 2 I purchased, brought home & rapidly read ... they have been 'around the block' many times for others to enjoy. These are great books for children to read, as well.

The stories within these pages are actual real life experiences, humor, hardships, joy & daily life events ... some are a few lines, other may be a large paragraph or a couple pages, with the writers name.

Captivating these tales are ... exposing life of yore ... Depression Days, World War II, Civil War, and the One-Room Schoolhouse, Back to the Basics, Came in a Covered Wagon ... & many more.

They show how the faith of man never left them despite what they encountered or endured. Great step back into history & times. Easy & quick reading, they are very enjoyable ...

MY FOLKS can be purchased thru internet searches ... published by Capper Press, Topeka, KS.

I'd love to hear from anyone that reads these books.

  10. Hello My Friend,
Thank you for your prayers for me and Amy and her friend Leila.
DR. Jesus Medina is in okc, ok at the ou medical center...we have to drive about 86-100 miles.....we live in a town called Enid, Okla. Dr. Dexeus is the oncologist/chemotherapy dr. that takes care of amy here in Enid...dr. medina is a surgeon and he travels all over the world doing surgery....I know he is a great surgeon but his help is not so good and he is usually being followed by about 10 resident drs.....he will retire in about 3 years and so we need good head, neck, and throat surgeons.
I am keeping my eyes out for feed sacks for you and I will try to find these neat little books.
    I enjoy your blog
