~~ The Grace of God ~~

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Thank you for the insight to my dishes, I measured them and they are exactly 3 1/2 inches in diameter, but I had never heard of china coasters. ;)
    Have a lovely day friend.

  4. What wonderful and thought provoking words. If you think about it, it really is a simple concept. I am a firm believer that it is the simple things that have the answers. We just need to stop long enough to "hear" them.

  6. No truer words have ever been written. Thank you Marydon.
When my son was about eleven months old, we found out that he would have severe disabilties and limitations both in body and mind. I thought that I would not be able to do what would be expected of me in raising this child. Of course there was no choice but to put my faith in God and move forward. Oh the places I have gone in my heart and the things that I have seen because of the 'gift'. I am so glad that One wiser that me is in control. I certainly have recieved something 'better'.
    Hugs,

  14. What a nice thing to read on a very late evening when I cannot sleep because I am worried and really do not have anything to worry about. Worry is such a waste of time..but what you posted gave me a shove in the right direction!! ( I KNEW I needed to get you listed and quickly...now I know why!) You are certainly there when I need you, Marydon!
    Sending you a HUGE hug!

  18. Wonderful thoughts! My husband always adds, "Thank God for unanwered prayers." So often we find out later on that what we thought we wanted wasn't the best for us. But God was watching and thought better of our request.
