ReplyDeleteWhen my son was about eleven months old, we found out that he would have severe disabilties and limitations both in body and mind. I thought that I would not be able to do what would be expected of me in raising this child. Of course there was no choice but to put my faith in God and move forward. Oh the places I have gone in my heart and the things that I have seen because of the 'gift'. I am so glad that One wiser that me is in control. I certainly have recieved something 'better'.

Wonderful thoughts! My husband always adds, "Thank God for unanwered prayers." So often we find out later on that what we thought we wanted wasn't the best for us. But God was watching and thought better of our request.
