Why do I have to swear on the Bible in court when the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed outside?


Why is it that our children can't read a Bible in school, but they can in prison?


Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over? AMEN, AMEN !!

    Food for thought, MD! I especially LOVE the one about the Bible not being allowed in schools but can be read in prison. I guess by then the higher-ups realize that just MAYBE it is a "fairly good blueprint for how to live one's life!"

    This is a great post. It is getting frightening out there. The more we push the Bible to side the deeper trouble we are going to be in. Will this country wake up before it is too late?

    Thank you...You have a wonderful weekends too... Thanks for stopping by...I'm like you too...I only use ketchup on my meatloaf and french fries...don't like ketchup on my hot dog or hamburger. Love tomatoes on my hamburger..Mmm! Lol It's still HOT here...It was 99 today and going to be 99 tomorrow...101 Sunday....Then it will be low 90x Mon thru Wed..YooHoo! So my weekends is staying in the AC...need to weed my flower bed..But it too HOT! Smiles and Hugs to you...Kathy

    THANK YOU FOR THOSE BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS....IT IS SO SAD THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE SO THEREFORE WE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OUR PRECIOUS SOLDIERS AND PRAYER IN SCHOOL....DOESN'T IT SEEM A LITTLE REASONABLE TO READ THE BIBLE BEFORE PRISON.......
    MY DH AND I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL IN 1973 AND WE TOOK BIBLE AS A CLASS...PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL...NOW LOOK WHERE WE ARE

    I am taken with the last thought. I spend time beating myself up for something said or done. I'm going to mentally hit control-alt-delete and move on when I am stuck. Thanks!
