~~ For Our Freedom ~~

* They travel miles in the heat..
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.
I'm talking about our troops! Thank you for all you do ... God Bless You!
May FREEDOM through the grace of God continue to bless our country & people .....

  1. My favorite Memorial is the Korean Memorial in Washington D.C. I thought it was the Vietnam and as soon as I got on the grounds I was overwhelmed by it beauty and reverence. When I found out it was the Korean I thought I don't love it because of the specific war, I love it because what it stands for. Believeing in freedom for all. Thanks

  6. A very lovely tribute - we all have so much to be grateful for. My older brother and his son are at the Boston Harbor today/tonight. They got to see the USS Constitution earlier and will enjoy dinner and fireworks tonight. Blessings to you this evening.

  14. Hi Marydon, I always say I'm a little slow but I get there eventually!
What great posts. I just finished the one about the older gentleman - the 4 marines. With tears streaming down my face of course! What a super story and thank you so much for putting it on. I can just see the guy in his fancy car speaking like that to the older man and then peeling out. There is just no respect for seniors in this country (or very little) and look what they have given us.
