~ Our kid-lings love making this recipe on their own, very easy,
quick & tasty ~
MEATBALL SUBS
1# of hamburger
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
1/4 c. pizza or spaghetti sauce
1/4 c. bread crumbs ... OR ... 6 Ritz crackers finely crushed
small cubes of cheese
hot dog buns
Make in 2" balls & place on cookie sheet. Punch cheese cube in center of meatball.
Preheat oven to 400.
Mix all ingredients together. Bake 14 to 18 mintues to 160F degrees.
Heat extra sauce up to pour across the meatballs, add grated cheese.

We do this and make two batches - one for spaghettit the first night and the second for subs the next night! We haven't done it in awhile, though, so thank you for the reminder!

Thanks for sharing the meatball sub recipe. I also enjoyed seeing the feed sacks. It brought back memories of my grandmother. She used feed sacks to make quilts, towels, apron, etc. I have some of her quilt tops that have feed sack squares in them.
