~ Indiana Bridges ~

These are 3 of the beautiful pictures we took on our trip to Indiana. The waterfall is in this quaint little village that has the town built on both sides of the canal. The bridges are so gorgeous, tucked amongst the exquisite countryside. This was a peaceful leisurely drive that was enjoyed immensely. The fields of farms were beautifully kept. 5. Seems like a perfect spot for an afternoon of daydreaming.

My bike is still down in the back yard. I guess I will take a pic of where it is now, how I came to have it, and why it looks like it does right now. This will force me to work on a MET MONDAY post.
I hope it turns out nice.
Just a warning my real life doesn't look half as pretty as my day dreaming.

  6. Hi Marydon
These bridges are beautiful. We lived in Indiana for a time and there were unique old bridges near by our home.
Your pictures remind me of the movie and book, Bridges of Madison County.

    Have a great evening.
    Blessings, Celestina Marie

  20. Oh I am so glad to hear that they are protected in that area. It is important that we preserve what we can of days gone by.
This lovely shop is in a charming town 25 miles from my house. (One thing you cannot say about the town I live in is that it is charming). Why don't you come over here and check it out. We could have so much fun.

  24. Oh, how I love the old covered bridges. There aren't many left "usable" in Vermont now. This one you've captured is very well kept!

Thank you for coming over to my blog and for the beautiful words of encouragement that you shared. You blessed my heart :).

  25. I love the covered bridges, but what intrigued me the most was the story of the elderly lady who used the string/thread from the feedsacks to crochet with. Saving money and recycling at that same time, we could all use wisdom such as hers.
