As we travel today thru our local area near Mt. Airy we are visiting a wee bit of the country that brings such peace to view as one meanders down these country roads. The 'colors' this year were breathtakingly bright, which we haven't had for several years.

  6. Your photos are so fabulous! I so miss the abundance of beautiful fall colors I use to enjoy when I lived in Aloha (near Portland). We have a bit here in the SF bay area, but nothing like up there!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. Your fall photos of Mt.Airy are just stunning. We had little sunshine to spark the fermentation of the sugars that produce the grand colors usually found in the Ozarks this year. I've missed them but through people like you I have been able to delight in the fall colors anyway. Thanks!

Have a wonderful weekend chalked full of blessings from above!!!

  8. Oh Pb!
I so dream of the day I can come to visit and drive with you down these beautiful roads of country. It is so beautiful, and beauty is preparing for its winter journey. It is almost time for the winter sleep. I love these pictures, they are just beautiful.

Rebecca's pieces are exquisite aren't they? She was blessed by God with her beautiful talent to paint. Anyone that has not visited her, just does not know what a blessing she is. She is not only a wonderful artist, but has be beautiful gift to write.

Many hugs and much love sweetie, Cherry Jelly

  13. Hi Marydon,
The colors are beautiful there. Amazing pictures of all the beauty. You lucky, lucky girl! I don't think our colors were good this year due to that early snow we got, but there's always next year.
You always leave me such beautiful messages and I want you to know how much they mean to me.
    Hugs,
    June
