~~ For ALL Special 'Mother's' ~~

~~MOTHER'S DAY GIVEAWAY BELOW ~~

There are parents & there are 'special parents'. A lovely lady on our blog inspired me to THANK all the wonderful loving women (& men) who are childless whether by choice or because God had a special path for them in life ... BUT ... give selflessly to children who may, or may not, have an empty spot in their little lives. The joy their gentle touch & hug, soft words, flowing love brings to a child, can be life changing.

Children are like rosebuds, they bloom with love & tender care.

God gave special blessings to these precious folks who share their love selflessly leaving memories that these children will carry throughout life.

Thank you & Happy Mother's Day to each of you.

  1. How sweet. I have a DIL who loves children and is so good with them while waiting on the LORD to bless her with a baby. Faithfully believing for 10 years.

  2. Marydon,
Thank you so much. You know, I never can believe that any of the children remember me, until I happen to see them and they run up to me to show me or introduce their children. I always felt like God said even if there was only one child to show up for Sunday School, that that child might be the one who changed the world for Christ. In other words, one child was worth it all. Most of the children I taught were dropped off by their drugger parents, so that few hours was all I had to show them the love of Christ. I really think it was a privilege. Sorry this is so long, but you totally touched a soft spot, lol.
Bless you for being so considerate.
    You are special,

  5. Hi Marydon, One of the greatest teachers my children had didn't have children of her own but was in no way childless. She changed the lives of many a child.
It was so nice to hear from you today. I love meeting new people. Especially people who garden. It is definitly my passion. Thank you for your wonderful comment. I'm so glad to hear that you also love the 'thrill of the hunt' If it ever stops raining for a few days I will be able to paint the gazebo and then post a pic of it . Then I hope it will rain. Last year in my part of Idaho we had very little rain so it was hard to keep everything watered.

  7. You are right. We have an aunt who never was a mother, but has nurtured all of us through the years. She is 93 years old now, and we all have such sweet memories.
